Migraine Botox

Migraine attack is a serious problem that affects people’s daily life. It is very difficult to bear because the intensity of the pain is very high. Botox has been used for many purposes since 1970. In recent years, it has been scientifically proven that botox reduces migraine attacks. Even in botox applications for cosmetic purposes, a decrease in the number of attacks has been found.

Migraine botox is different from botox for aesthetic purposes. It is applied to the patient’s trigger points. Between the eyebrows, temples and nape trigger points are the most frequently applied areas. Migraine botox does not affect expression. Higher doses are used than for aesthetic purposes. Botox effect starts 3-4 days after injection. The full effect occurs on the 14th day.
