PRP

PRP got its name from the English abbreviation ‘platelet rich plasma’. It is obtained from a cell called thrombocyte found in human blood. In other words, it is obtained from the person’s own blood. It has a cell regeneration and blood circulation enhancing effect. It is used to renew the skin for aesthetic purposes, to reduce wrinkles, to treat stains and to reduce hair loss. After the blood taken from the arm is processed, it is injected into the needed area with fine needles. Its effect starts in an average of 20 days and continues for 4-6 months.

After PRP treatment, redness can be seen on the face. Facial skin flaking and flaking can be seen. These effects are temporary. Not suitable for patients with autoimmune disease, liver disease and coagulation disorders. PRP treatment can be applied in combination with dermapen and laser treatments.

It is one of the preferred procedures to be applied routinely after hair transplantation.
